Russian Caravan

from £6.55

Our stunning Russian Caravan tea is a heady mixture of 3 teas: Lapsang, Assam & South West Indian leaves, which combined, offer an assertive cup with toasty, slightly sweet, smoky depth rounded by thick notes of malt and a long finish.

Its distinct name, ‘Russian Caravan’ is said to derive from the camel caravans which transported the tea on the trade route from China to Russia in the 17th and 18th century. Drawn out nights around the campfire meant the leaves were exposed to smoke, resulting in a toasty and unique tea with an intricate web of stories behind it.
