Oriental Beauty Oolong
Oriental Beauty Oolong is a masterpiece of flavour and elegance. This unique and speciality loose-leaf tea possesses a honey-like sweetness and fruity character which is the result of an intricate process. Tiny green leafhoppers, known as tea jassids, delicately nibble on the leaves while still on the plant, initiating an oxidation process that enriches the tea with polyphenols. The result is a remarkably smooth and fruity profile. Crafted from select shoots containing one bud and two top leaves, exceptional quality is ensured.
Also referred to as Dongfang Meiren or Bai Hao ('white tip'), Oriental Beauty Oolong is cultivated throughout the summer in the Hsinchu County area of northern Taiwan.
The cup yields a light amber-coloured infusion. Its honey-like flavours and subtle hints of dark cherry and cacao dance on the palate with each sip.
Ingredients: Premium green tea leaves
Origin: Chiayi County, Taiwan 🇹🇼
