This is the hot chocolate that made us want to stock Harth.
Rich, smooth, and deeply chocolatey, it’s made with natural cocoa powder and just a handful of ingredients. No artificial flavours, no unnecessary extras, just proper hot chocolate with real depth of flavour.
Unlike many instant hot chocolates, Harth’s Original Hot Chocolate tastes unmistakably of cocoa. It’s rich without being overly sweet, comforting without being heavy, and manages to feel like a treat whether you’re drinking it on a winter evening or a rainy summer afternoon.
The texture is particularly good. Thick enough to feel indulgent, but still smooth and easy to drink.
If you’re looking for a hot chocolate that tastes more like chocolate and less like sugar, this is an easy recommendation.

FAQs
What makes it different from supermarket hot chocolate?
The cocoa flavour. Many hot chocolates are very sweet and fairly one-dimensional. This has a deeper chocolate character and a much richer finish.
Is it very sweet?
No. It has enough sweetness to balance the cocoa, but chocolate remains the star of the show.
Does it work with plant-based milk?
Yes. Oat milk in particular works beautifully and produces a wonderfully creamy cup.
