How To Brew Loose Leaf Black Tea

Brewing loose leaf black tea is easy once you know the basics.
Start with fresh, filtered water and heat it to a rolling boil β€” around 95–100Β°C. Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf black tea per cup and steep for 2–3 minutes, depending on your strength preference. For a bolder brew, let it sit longer; for something lighter, cut it short. Enjoy it black, or add a splash of milk or slice of lemon.
