Warming Herbal Blends

Turmeric, Ginger & Rosehip Teas for Colder Days

This collection brings together loose leaf teas featuring turmeric, ginger, rosehip and other warming botanicals. These ingredients have been used in traditional drinks for centuries, valued for their distinctive earthy, spicy and tangy flavours. From the bold kick of Lemon & Ginger Tea to the Ayurvedic spice blend of Kadha Tonic, each cup offers something a little different.

The range spans herbal infusions and naturally caffeine-free rooibos options. You will find fruity, mellow choices like Bramble and Fruit Rooibos alongside the golden warmth of Glow, which features turmeric. Earl Grey Rooibos brings bergamot citrus notes without the caffeine, while Rooibos offers a smooth, naturally sweet base that works well with milk.

These teas are selected for their flavour profiles and ingredients rather than as remedies or treatments. They suit anyone who enjoys warming, spiced or earthy drinks, particularly in the cooler months or as a caffeine-free evening option. All are hand-packed in Yorkshire and ready to brew.

How to choose

01

Consider Caffeine Levels

Every tea in this collection is naturally caffeine-free, making them suitable for evenings or for anyone avoiding stimulants. Rooibos options tend to be smoother, while herbal blends often have bolder spice notes.

02

Think About Milk

Rooibos teas like Rooibos and Organic Marzipan Rooibos take milk well, creating a fuller-bodied drink. Herbal blends such as Lemon & Ginger are best enjoyed black with a slice of lemon or a little honey.

03

Match to Your Mood

For something fruity and light, try Bramble or Fruit Rooibos. When you want warming spice, reach for Kadha Tonic or Lemon & Ginger. Glow sits somewhere in between with its turmeric base.

What does turmeric tea taste like?

Turmeric has an earthy, slightly peppery flavour with mild bitterness. It blends well with ginger, citrus and warming spices. Our Glow blend balances turmeric with ginger, pineapple, carrot and beetroot for a rounder cup.

Is rooibos tea caffeine-free?

Yes, rooibos is naturally caffeine-free. It comes from a South African plant unrelated to the Camellia sinensis tea bush, so it contains no caffeine at all. This makes it ideal for drinking any time of day.

Can I add milk to herbal tea?

It depends on the blend. Rooibos teas generally take milk well and develop a creamy texture. Spiced or citrus-forward herbals like Lemon & Ginger are usually better enjoyed black, perhaps with honey.

How do I brew ginger tea properly?

Use freshly boiled water and steep for three to five minutes to extract the full ginger warmth. Longer steeping intensifies the spice. Around one teaspoon of loose leaf per cup is usually right.

What herbal teas are good for winter?

Warming spices like ginger and turmeric suit colder months well. Kadha Tonic draws on traditional Ayurvedic spice combinations, while Lemon & Ginger offers a simpler but equally warming option.
