The story

The end of sad commute tea

There is a particular kind of defeat that comes from drinking lukewarm tea from a paper cup while waiting for a delayed train. This bottle exists because that should not be your only option. Fill it with loose leaf, steep it properly, then lift out the infuser when it is ready. Your tea travels with you, still hot when you actually want to drink it.

The double-wall construction does the serious work here. Twelve hours of heat retention is enough for a morning brew to stay warm past lunch. Twenty-four hours cold means iced tea or fruit-infused water survives a full day out without turning tepid. The leak-resistant lid and carrying handle make it straightforward to chuck in a bag without worry.

Available in red, blue or black, it has a sportswear feel without being shouty about it. The 500ml capacity is generous enough for a proper drink but not so bulky it becomes awkward. If you already drink loose leaf at home, this is simply a way to keep doing that when you leave the house.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

No, hand wash only. The insulation and seal last longer if you wash by hand with warm soapy water and let it air dry.

Does the infuser fit all types of tea?

Yes. It works with any loose leaf tea, from fine green tea to chunkier herbal blends. The mesh is fine enough to keep small leaves out of your drink.

Will my tea over-steep if I leave the infuser in?

It can. For best results, remove the infuser once your tea has brewed to your liking. The whole point is that you can lift it out and stop the steep.

Is it completely leak-proof?

The screw lid has an airtight seal designed to prevent leaks. Tighten it properly and it should be fine in your bag, though we would not test it upside down for fun.

Can I use it for coffee?

It is designed for tea and infusions rather than coffee. You could put brewed coffee in it to keep warm, but the infuser will not work like a filter for ground coffee.
