The story
Designed in LA, at home in Yorkshire
FORLIFE has been making teaware in Los Angeles since 1994, when ceramic designer Masa Fujii decided teapots should be simpler and tougher. The Stump is the result: a squat, modern shape that stacks to save cupboard space, pours cleanly from a drip-free spout, and comes in enough colours to match any kitchen.
Inside sits a deep, removable infuser with extra-fine mesh holes. It handles everything from the tiniest rooibos to big, whole oolong leaves without letting bits through. The hinged stainless-steel lid flips back with your thumb and stays put while you pour, so no clattering into the sink.
At 530ml it is sized for one quiet pot or two cups shared. Not a crowd-pleaser, just a reliable daily teapot that does what you need without fuss. High-fired ceramic keeps heat in; the plastic-handled infuser lifts out easily when the steep is done.

Taking the infuser out stops the steep, so your second cup tastes as good as the first.

How many cups does the Stump Teapot hold?
It holds 530ml, which fills two generous cups or three smaller ones. Plenty for a quiet pot on your own or a quick round for two.
Will it fit small-leaf teas like rooibos?
Yes. The infuser has extra-fine mesh that keeps rooibos, honeybush and fine herbal blends out of your cup while still letting water flow properly.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Every part, pot, lid and infuser, is dishwasher safe. For stubborn tea stains, dissolve a little baking soda in warm water and give it a soak.
Can I use it without the infuser?
You can, but you would need a separate strainer when pouring. The infuser is the easiest way to keep leaves out of your cup.
Does the lid fall off when I pour?
No. The hinged lid flips back and stays in place, so you can pour one-handed without chasing it across the worktop.

The FORLIFE Stump is a compact 530 ml high-fired ceramic teapot with a deep removable stainless-steel infuser and hinged lid.
Its extra-fine 0.3 mm holes are designed for fine rooibos as well as larger loose leaves. Lift the basket when the tea is ready so the second pour does not keep steeping.
