The story

Kenyan character, Yorkshire roasting

Kiangothe AA starts in Kirinyaga, on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya. The beans are processed at Kiangothe Factory, part of the Kabare Farmers’ Cooperative Society, before Danelaw roasts them for its Bjorn range.

The label’s hibiscus, bergamot and blackberry notes give you a good idea of the cup: floral lift, citrus character and dark berry fruit. They are flavour descriptions, rather than ingredients added to the beans.

Dave at Danelaw chose this coffee for our latest order for its distinctive, floral character. We think it belongs in the sort of morning where you can take a moment over your coffee.
