Speciality Coffee Beans
Speciality coffee from independent roasters
Good coffee deserves a place on the Porter Hill shelf. Browse beans from the independent roasters we stock, with options for a bright filter cup, a richer espresso and a dependable everyday brew.
Read the tasting notes and brewing suggestions on each product page to find a bag that suits your setup. If you want coffee later in the day, there are decaf choices on this shelf too.
Packed in Yorkshire. UK delivery is free on orders of £35 or more.
How to choose
Start with flavour
For a lighter, fruitier cup, look for citrus or berry notes. If you prefer something rounder, try chocolate, caramel or nut notes.
Match your brewing method
Check the product description for a roast and grind that suit your espresso machine, cafetière or filter brewer.
Fancy decaf?
The Nott Coffee Eclipse and Aurora decaf beans give you two different flavour profiles without the usual caffeine.

Matcha vs Coffee: Caffeine, Taste and Cost per Cup ComparedHow should I store whole coffee beans?
Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Avoid the fridge or freezer as temperature changes can cause condensation. Use within a few weeks of opening for the best flavour.
Can I grind these beans for a cafetière?
Yes. You will need a coarse grind for cafetière, medium for filter, and fine for espresso. A burr grinder gives the most consistent results, but any grinder will work at a pinch.
What is the difference between single origin and blend coffee?
Single origin comes from one farm or region, so the flavour reflects that specific place. Blends mix beans from different sources to create a balanced, consistent taste that works across brewing methods.
Do you sell ground coffee or only beans?
This shelf currently focuses on whole beans. Check each product page for the format and any available options before ordering.
How long does delivery take?
See our delivery policy for current dispatch and delivery times. UK delivery is free on orders of £35 or more.
