Derek’s Darkside takes everything people love about Derek and turns the dial up a notch.
Roasted a little darker, this seasonal espresso blend delivers a richer, deeper cup with plenty of chocolate character and a satisfyingly full body. It’s the coffee for those mornings when you want something bold and comforting rather than bright and delicate.
The darker roast brings notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar and roasted nuts, while still retaining the balance and sweetness that make Bean Brothers coffees so easy to enjoy. There’s depth here, but not bitterness. Strength, but not harshness.
It makes an excellent espresso and comes into its own with milk, producing smooth flat whites, rich cappuccinos and proper lattes with plenty of flavour.
If your ideal coffee is rich, chocolatey and reassuringly robust, Derek’s Darkside is an easy recommendation.
