The story
Named after a waterfall, not a romance novel
Lover's Leap takes its name from a waterfall in Nuwara Eliya, high in Sri Lanka's central highlands. The tea grows at altitude, where cool air and mist slow the leaves down and give them time to develop flavour. What you get in the cup is bright, lively and lifted rather than heavy and tannic.
Orange Pekoe simply means long, whole leaves carefully picked and processed. No orange flavouring involved, just a grading term that dates back centuries. These wiry leaves steep to a golden amber liquor with a floral bouquet and a clean, slightly citrus edge. There is a whisper of honey sweetness in there too, if you pay attention.
This is not a breakfast bruiser. It suits an afternoon moment when you want something brisk but not too bold. Try it plain first to catch the floral side, then add a small splash of milk if you like. It will take it, but it does not need it.

OP stands for Orange Pekoe, a made-leaf grade; it does not mean that orange has been added. The current Shopify ingredient field says black tea (Orange Pekoe).

The product is named Lover’s Leap and recorded as Sri Lankan black tea. The current shop record does not provide batch-level estate certification, elevation, cultivar or harvest details, so we do not claim them here.
