The story

A brew with a bit of Town pride

Terrier Tea is Porter Hill's nod to Huddersfield Town. The blend brings together Nonsuch Nilgiri from southern India for brightness, Milima from Kenya for copper-coloured body, and roasted yerba maté for that toasty, almost biscuity depth. Blue cornflower petals finish the look, a quiet tip of the cap to Town's colours.

In the cup it is punchy without being aggressive. There is malt upfront, a roasted edge in the middle, and a coppery briskness that lingers. It brews dark and strong, the sort of tea that fills a big mug and still has character when you add milk. Drink it black if you want to notice every layer.

This is a morning tea or a half-time tea, something to warm your hands around when the weather is doing its usual Yorkshire thing. Not officially affiliated with the club, just made with local affection and enough backbone to get you through ninety minutes.

The current descriptive copy names Nonsuch Nilgiri black tea, Kenyan Milima black tea, roasted yerba maté and cornflower petals. The black teas bring brightness and body; the maté adds the toasty turn.
