Loose Leaf Teaware
From teapots to bamboo matcha whisks, here’s everything you need to brew up a better loose leaf tea.
Loose leaf vs teabags (why it tastes better)
- Bigger leaves, bigger flavour: Whole leaves infuse gradually, giving depth without harsh bitterness.
- Cleaner ingredients: We prioritise natural flavourings (or none at all), real botanicals and honest blends.
- Better value per cup: You use less leaf for more taste—and many teas (especially oolong and green) can be re-steeped.
- Less waste: Plastic-free packaging and no microplastics from bag materials.
How to brew loose leaf tea (no faff required)
All you need is a mug, a simple infuser or teapot, and fresh water.
- Loose leaf black tea: 1 tsp per cup · 100°C · 2–4 mins.
- Loose leaf green tea: 1 tsp · 75–85°C · 1–3 mins.
- Loose leaf Oolong tea: 1 tsp · 85°C · 2–3 mins.
- Loose leaf White tea: 1–2 tsp · 75–85°C · 2–3 mins.
- Loose leaf Herbal & Rooibos teas: 1 heaped tsp · 100°C · 3–7 mins.

Loose Leaf Tea – FAQs
Is loose leaf tea better than teabags?
For flavour and control, yes. Whole leaves deliver a cleaner, more nuanced cup and you can tailor strength easily.
Which loose leaf tea should I start with?
If you like milk, begin with Assam or English Breakfast. Prefer lighter? Try Sencha or Milk Oolong. For evenings, go Rooibos or Peppermint.
Is loose leaf tea hard to brew?
Not at all. A teaspoon of leaf, hot water, a basic infuser and the guide above—that’s it.
Do you offer organic loose leaf tea?
Yes—especially across herbals (e.g. Dandelion, Turkish Apple) and selected traditional teas. Check each product page.
Can I re-steep the leaves?
Usually, yes—particularly oolongs, greens and whites. Expect a smoother second cup.
